As Vice President of Marketing, Sarah brings 12 years of experience developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility, engage target audiences, and drive meaningful business growth. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to lead marketing initiatives for established technology companies, gaining valuable experience in brand positioning, digital marketing, content strategy, audience engagement, communications, and go-to-market initiatives.
Over the years, Sarah has learned that effective marketing is about far more than simply getting a message in front of an audience — it’s about understanding the people you are trying to reach, communicating a clear and compelling value proposition, and creating a consistent brand experience across every touchpoint. Her experience has given her a strong understanding of what works, what doesn’t, and how to continually refine a strategy through a combination of data, creativity, market insight, and measurable results.
In her role, Sarah is excited to help showcase the company’s services to the public and build a strong, recognizable presence that accurately reflects the value the company provides. She is passionate about creating powerful and informative marketing that not only captures attention but also builds credibility, strengthens brand awareness, and turns awareness into meaningful engagement. She particularly enjoys the opportunity to tell the story behind innovative technologies and solutions and to help audiences understand how they can make a tangible difference in the world.
Sarah has a particular passion for green technologies and the role innovation can play in creating a more sustainable future. She is energized by companies and technologies that are working to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and develop smarter, more sustainable ways of doing business. She sees marketing as an important part of that process — helping translate complex technologies and ideas into clear, compelling stories that people can understand, connect with, and ultimately support.
Her marketing philosophy centers on combining strategic thinking with authentic storytelling. Whether developing a campaign, refining brand messaging, creating content, launching a new initiative, or identifying opportunities to reach key audiences, Sarah believes effective marketing should be intentional, audience-focused, and aligned with broader business objectives. She also believes the strongest brands are those that communicate not only what they do, but why it matters.
Outside of work, Sarah is happiest outdoors and on the trails with her three golden retrievers, Chipper, Marble, and Lala. Although southern Iowa will always be home, she finds herself drawn back to the mountains of Colorado and Utah whenever she has the opportunity. Her love of the outdoors, adventure, and exploration brings a natural balance to her professional life and reinforces her appreciation for the importance of protecting and preserving the environment. There is rarely a mountain trail she won’t consider exploring, and she is always looking for the next opportunity to get outside, discover a new place, and spend time with her dogs.
